Sauvetage Baie-D'Urfé

The mission of the Baie D'Urfé Rescue Squad is to provide competent and compassionate assistance to victims in the event of an emergency in our community, through prevention, public education and emergency services. Our goal is to cooperate with other departments and actively seek ways to better protect and treat the public we serve.

Québec Secours

For over 30 years, volunteers from Québec Secours offer search and rescue services for missing persons, in urban and forest environments, mainly in the regions of Montreal, Montérégie, Laval and the Laurentians.
Its volunteers are qualified in first aid and trained in rescue on sloping terrain and evacuation off-piste or in inaccessible areas.
We also offer first aid services during special events and we are involved in the community, particularly with children in matters of forest safety. Québec Secours responds to police authorities but also to any public wishing to use its services.

Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit

The Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit has been active in the community since 1951.
In addition to their involvement in search and rescue, members of the group act as first responders.

Recherche Sauvetage Laurentides Lanaudière

The group Recherche Sauvetage Laurentides Lanaudière joined the AQBRS in October 2023.
Members are specially trained to respond to public events and search and rescue operations for missing persons.

Saint-Jean Ambulance - division 971 Laval

St. John Ambulance is dedicated to the health and safety of the community. In Quebec, we offer event services, medical first responder services, canine services, and civil security.
The Laval division is also involved in wilderness, remote, and disaster response. As such, we are fully aware of current and future challenges. We have a rapid response and deployment capability with passionate, trained responders for various response environments. Joining the ranks of the AQBRS allows us to increase our response capacity to provide adequate and rapid assistance to the population when our services are required, both in wilderness, remote, and urban environments.

S&R Beacon R&S

The Beacon K9 Search and Rescue Team is a newly formed volunteer group dedicated to providing professional, compassionate, and effective search and rescue services in the Greater Montreal and Quebec areas. Officially formed in December 2024, our mission is to provide ground support for missing persons and environmental disasters. We specialize in locating lost people in both urban and wilderness areas using our trained dogs.
