The EURÊKA group was founded in July 2010. Our team is made up of researchers volunteers, trained and experienced, who have already proven themselves during numerous searches for missing persons in the region as well as elsewhere in Quebec. We work under the direction of Quebec Civil Security and in close collaboration with the various police forces in Quebec. Our organization is a member of the Association. We are also involved in the community, particularly in prevention and forest safety.
Our mission: to support federal, provincial and municipal authorities as well as families during the search for missing people by providing ground search and rescue services. We also offer our services during major disasters and we are involved in various prevention and awareness activities with different clienteles.

The Quebec Civil Emergency Response Service (SIUCQ) - Mauricie Division

The Civil Emergency Intervention Service of Quebec (SIUCQ) Mauricie division is a non-profit organization offering various services in situations threatening civil security in the Mauricie region.
Our mission fits perfectly with the implementation of the new emergency coverage plans requested by the Quebec Ministry of Public Security. We have more than 25 volunteer members available at all times, several emergency vehicles and various equipment. Security perimeter, traffic control, first aid services, and evacuations are just some of the services provided by the organization.
Operating in the Mauricie region, whose municipalities pay an annual share to benefit from our services, the SIUCQ makes its volunteers and equipment available to emergency responders at all times, 24 hours a day, 24 days a week. Founded in 7, the SIUCQ Mauricie responds annually to calls mainly from fire departments but also from municipal authorities and police services.
In addition to emergency situations, the organization is pleased to announce the implementation of its division Search and rescue. This is only a modest beginning and we are proud to now be part of this great family that is the AQBRS.
